Canvas websites enforce encryption of all information you enter, view, or download. We use end to end secure socket layer (SSL) encryption on our websites. If it does't say https in your browser, it's not us. All communications with external services are made over strongly encrypted connections. All personal information is encrypted while stored in our databases. Our backups and development environments are also encrypted at rest and only our trained staff interact with personal information.
Why do you require my personal information?
In order to create your annuity application, we need to collect your personal information. Traditional insurers collect application information over the phone or with paper forms; we built the Canvas website to collect this information securely online. We use your personal information to verify your identity and prevent fraud as well as to provide you with the best customer experience. Rest assured, the information you share with us is stored securely and will never be sold to third parties.
